Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple is a Hindu shrine in Dolakha District of Nepal. It is situated in Kalinchowk VDC in Dolakha at the altitude of 3842m from sea-level. It’s a part of the Gaurishankar Conservation Area from where two rivers Sun Kosi and Tama Kosi River originate. The route from Deurali to Kuri village is the best spot for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. Charikot is also an interesting junction spot along the Kalinchowk route. Since Charikot is the headquarters of Dolakha district, it is adequately developed in infrastructure. There is another famous Dolakha Bhimsen temple, which is about 30 minutes driving distance from Charikot.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1 – KTM To Kalinchowk

Our Driver pick-up in your location and journey get started from here, a scenic drive from KTM to Kuri village that might take up to 5 hours (depending on the traffic), before reaching Kuri, we stop at Charikot where we will have lunch and take a final push to the Kuri village for the day. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the local hotel staff and serve the dinners, enjoy the rest of your time by visiting the villages and camp firing, Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2 – Kalinchowk To KTM

Second day is an exciting day for all of us; we wake up early in the morning to take a 1-2 hour hike to the Kalinchowk temple to enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas as well as spectacular sunrise view After spending some time at Kalinchowk Bhagwati Shrine, We start our descend to kuri village and then preparations to return to a long journey to KTM.
